Have your next birthday party, office event, school field trip or university group gathering at Climb Nittany. We’d love to host your group. We’ll provide staff dedicated to your group, necessary climbing equipment and an area for parties. If you have a unique curriculum in mind, please contact us.
Birthday Parties
Trade the usual birthday routine for a celebration that takes things to new heights! Birthday parties at Climb Nittany bring friends together for climbing, adventure, and to cheer each other on. We’ll help get the climbing started so you can focus on celebrating!
No climbing experience is necessary. Enjoy 2 hours for your party with 60-90 minutes of rope climbing. We provide:
Staff members dedicated to your group for 2 hours
Climbing Harnesses
Reserved space for your celebration
Tableware, plates, napkins & tablecloth, if needed
Please reserve at least 3 weeks in advance.
$280 for 1-10 participants; $18 for each additional participant.

Whether you’re planning a school outing, team or office event, club gathering, or just looking for something fun to do together, group climbing is a great way to challenge yourselves, encourage each other, and try something new.

A staff-led introduction to climbing and a facility tour
90 minutes of climbing with staff-provided belayers
Rental climbing gear
We require bookings 3 weeks in advance, so book now. We may be able to make accommodations for shorter notice reservations and can also work with you if you have a special curriculum in mind.
Prices begin at $240 for 1-10 participants.

No experience is necessary! Our staff will provide a climbing orientation, safety guidance, and belayers to help your group get started. Rental climbing gear is included.

After booking, you’ll receive a custom link to share with your guests. They can use this link to enter their information and complete their waivers before arriving. We recommend sending it to everyone as early as possible to help your party check in smoothly and start on time. You can also use your custom link to monitor who has completed the waiver.
Everyone entering the facility, including parents, spectators, and non-climbing guests, must have a completed waiver on file. Participants under 18 must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian.

No. Only participants who climb are charged. Parents, spectators, and other non-climbing guests are welcome at no additional cost. However, everyone entering the facility must have a completed waiver on file, including spectators and non-climbing guests.

We maintain a required staff-to-climber ratio for all parties to ensure each group has the appropriate level of staff support. Adding climbers may require additional staff, so we ask that you finalize your headcount at the time of booking. While we’ll do our best to accommodate changes, we can’t guarantee last-minute additions. Please contact us as early as possible if your guest count changes!

Please plan your climbing and celebration time within the time that you have reserved since we may have another group scheduled afterward and the staff may not be available.

Group and party reservations need to be made 3 weeks in advance so that your event can be properly staffed. If your event is sooner, contact us to see if we can accommodate you.

Cancellations made at least 3 weeks in advance are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made 5–20 days in advance are eligible for account credit (expires after 1 year).
Cancellations made less than 5 days in advance are not eligible for a refund or account credit. If extenuating circumstances arise, please contact us.
